Dr Khoo Chong-Yee will attend the Spring Meeting of the American Intellectual Property Lawyers Association (AIPLA). The meeting will be held at the Hilton Minneapolis from 13 to 15 May 2025.
The 2025 AIPLA Spring Meeting in Minneapolis will explore the intersection of intellectual property, emerging technologies, and legal innovation. The meeting will feature expanded Skills Workshops, a diverse programme of IP topics and signature networking events.

Chong-Yee Khoo will give a talk on patent prosecution in Singapore at a webinar organised by the patent attorney associations of Singapore, France and Australia on 9 April 2025.
The webinar is jointly organised by The Association of Singapore Patent Attorneys (ASPA), CNCPI - Compagnie Nationale des Conseils en Propriété Industrielle (France) and the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia (IPTA).
During the webinar, speakers from the three professional organisations will talk on patent and trade mark searching, prosecution and litigation in their respective jurisdictions.
Chong-Yee’s talk is entitled “Fast Track or Slow Lane? Strategies for Accelerating and Delaying Patent Prosecution in Singapore”. His talk will focus on the different ways an applicant can accelerate or delay the search, examination and grant of their patent application in Singapore.
