The Association of Singapore Patent Attorneys (ASPA) and the Japanese Patent Attorneys Association (JPAA) will be jointly hosting a webinar on patent prosecution and litigation. The webinar will be held on 22 February 2022 at 11:00 am Singapore Time.

Dr Chong-Yee Khoo will give a presentation entitled “Patent Amendments: Best Practices to Avoid Hazards” at the joint webinar.

His presentation will cover Singapore patent practice relating to added subject matter and unsearched subject matter. He will also suggest recommendations on best practice during the patent drafting process, making an informed decision on requesting examination and during patent prosecution, particulary with regard to the making of amendments.
