Magdelene brings over 20 years of experience in patent and registered design law, with a distinguished career that includes being a Partner for 10 years in a leading global firm of patent and trade mark attorneys. She has a proven track record of successfully representing clients in the semiconductor, telecommunications, software, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, providing expert advice on patent strategy, and navigating the complexities of patent litigation.

In her new role, Magdelene will lead patent and registered design prosecution efforts, guide clients through the patent and registered design application process, and provide strategic advice on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights. She will play a critical role in contributing to the firm’s continued growth and success.

Magdelene holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) degree and a Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law, both from the National University of Singapore. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA), United Kingdom and a Committee Member of the Association of Singapore Patent Attorneys. She is also recognized for her role in successfully overturning a decision of the Registrar of Patents to disallow a correction request before the High Court of Singapore (Nippon Shinyaku v Registrar of Patents), the first such decision in Singapore.
