Dr Chong-Yee Khoo attended the CIPA Life Sciences Conference virtually this year.
Traditionally the conference is a favoured opportunity for patent and IP professionals active in the pharma, medical technology and biotechnology sectors to connect, discuss and be educated in a friendly environment and to get CPD points.

Dr Chong-Yee Khoo has been invited to be part of an expert panel on Asia Pacific Intellectual Property at this year’s CIPA Life Sciences Conference.
Chong-Yee will cover biotech patent law in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Japan.
The Asia Pacific IP Panel aims to inform delegates about the boundaries of protection and main issues that may arise in life sciences patent cases in the various jurisdictions. Topics for discussion include:
Dr Chong-Yee Khoo has once again been recognised by Intellectual Asset Management (IAM), one of the world’s leading IP publications.
The IAM Patent 1000 - The World’s Leading Patent Professionals is a unique guide, published annually, that identifies the top patent professionals in key jurisdictions around the globe.
Chong-Yee has been listed in IAM Patent 1000 2017 as a recommended individual in Singapore. His citation reads:

Dr Khoo Chong-Yee has been invited to speak at the CIPA Life Sciences Conference in November this year. Chong-Yee will give an update on recent developments in biotech and pharma patent law and practice in South East Asia at the conference.
The CIPA Life Sciences Conference is organised by the Life Sciences Committee of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys, UK. In a break from tradition, the conference this year will take place on Monday 14th November 2016 and Tuesday 15th November 2016. The venue is the Grand Hotel, Brighton (97-99 King’s Road, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 2FW), around 10 minutes walk from Brighton Rail Station. Attendees can earn up to 9 hours of CPD at the event.
